East Turkistanis across the world remember the 10th Anniversary of Urumchi Massacre & call for Independence For East Turkistan

Uyghurs and other East Turkistanis across the world gathered this past week, holding demonstrations and other events to remember the 10th Anniversary of the 2009 Urumchi Massacre.

The overwhelming majority of East Turkistanis realize that without political rights they cannot have real human rights. Thus, they called on the Free World to support Independence For East Turkistan.

United States

As part of an event remembering the 10th Anniversary of the 2009 Urumchi Massacre, Uyghurs & other East Turkistanis, led by the East Turkistan National Awakening Movement, demonstrate outside of the US State Department and call on the US Government to support Independence For East Turkistan.

Kazakhstan

Uyghurs, Kazakhs, and other Turkic peoples gathered to remember the 10th Anniversary of the 2009 Urumchi Massacre. They prayed for the restoration of East Turkistan’s independence and an end to China’s occupation & oppression.

France

Uyghurs & other East Turkistanis gathered in Paris, France to remember the 10th Anniversary of Uurumchi Massacre. They called on the United States of America to support for Independence For East Turkistan.

Japan

Uyghurs and Japanese supporters held a demonstration in remembrance of the 10th Anniversary of the July 5th, 2009 Urumchi Massacre. They called for Independence For East Turkistan, closure of the Concentration Camps, and for China to end its occupation of East Turkistan.

Russia

Uyghurs, Tatars, and other Turkic peoples gathered in Russia to remember the 10th Anniversary of the 2009 Urumchi Massacre. They called for unity between Kazakhs, Uyghurs, Kyrgyz, and Tatars along with Independence For East Turkistan.

Turkey

Hundreds of East Turkisanis and Turkish people gathered to remember the 10th Anniversary of the 2009 Urumchi Massacre. Calls to shutdown China’s Concentration Camps along with calls for Independence For East Turkistan were made.

Netherlands

Uyghurs, Kazakhs, other Turkic peoples, and their supporters gathered in Amsterdam to remember the 10th Anniversary of the 2009 Urumchi Massacre. Calls to shut down the concentration camps, to stop the genocide, and to support Independence for East Turkistan were made.

Canada

Uyghurs, other Turkic peoples, and their supporters, led by the East Turkistan Canadian Association, held a rally in Toronto to remember the 10th Anniversary of the 2009 Urumchi Massacre. Calls for shutting down the camps, restoring East Turkistan’s independence, and stopping the genocide were made.

Australia

Hundreds of Uyghurs, other Turkic peoples, and their supporters, led by the East Turkistan Australian Association, gathered together to remember the 10th Anniversary of the 2009 Urumchi Massacre. They demanded Freedom and Independence For East Turkistan, for China to stop the Genocide of Uyghurs, and for closure of the Concentration Camps.
